Well, I thought I was done with the robot themed Munny's I've been doing of late, but as I looked at "The Grunt" I felt like he needed a victum. So here he is, Demoed. Feedback welcome, good or bad.

Finally got some better pics....

I really like your munnies and I don't usually say so, je je. The details are amazing and so is the painting. Really love the mouth. Let me tell you again... really love the mouth and also the tummy. Man, what can I say? :prayer:

Thanks for the comments, much appreciated. Your work is impressive as well (really like your last one, Shango).

These pictures are actually pretty bad (poor lighting), as they don't capture the colours properly (the rusted look). I'll re-shoot on Saturday and post.

He's great. The detail and texture are impeccable. He now needs his revenge on the Grunt :/

Have you seen Tetsuo by any chance?

If not you probably should ;)

Thanks for the comments. No I haven't seen Tetsuo before. Maybe I'll pick it up.

You've got a little custom series going on here! These are seriously some of the best customs I've ever seen. Does is take a long time to finish, what with the small metal parts (eyes, nails, insides, etc)?

yeah, the sculpting and planning takes a little while. The painting is the quickest part. A lot of the time I have a general idea and than alter it as I go.

It's all acrylics...these are the colours I used for this one (the last three for the rust look):
- Black
- Iridescent Stainless Steel (Coarse)
- Yellow Ochre
- Red Oxide
- Brown Sienna
