This is my first effort at customizing. It's a mini Munny, not a full size, and I only used primer, cheap acrylics and matte finish. Full size will be up next, thinking of new ways to improve my techniques.

Let me hear what you think!

I love the design. The main thing to improve next time is the paint application. Thin your paint more and you'll have a smoother finish.

Thanks! You're right of course - I just did not want to thin out the paint more than it already was. Gonna buy better (denser) paint next time. Any other tips for getting a good color application?

I understand not thinning out cheap paints, because it can be a pain to get them to cover an area. But in the end I think you will find that thinning the paint and applying multiple layers will lead to an even finish. Better paint should help the coverage, either way. That's the only thing that I don't like about this munny. Otherwise it is very clean; your lines are very clean. It's only when you look at the full size version that the paint is noticeable. If you keep that in mind your next munny should be even better.

I enjoy this guy. I like how you made the board using the ears. +2 for creativity! I wanted to throw my two cents in about paint. I use soft body acrylics for the most part. If I can't I'll get the thicker stuff and use a "canvas gel medium" it comes in a tube like craftpaint. makes the acrylics creamy like oils without watering down the paint so you don't need multiple applications. Also just blending two colors together normally thickens it up if you are using craft paints.
