Some stuff I finished today. I kinda like them. On a PURELY hypothetical level, would there be any interest in these guys or things like them?

I like these a lot. a nice change of pace, they seem airy and full of life, instead of the many dark dreary things I've been seeing lately. Wood is always nice too. Someone will definitely buy these up.

i like these!

i might sound like an idiot here but is the body made of wood too or is it just painted vinyl? i'm assuming it's the latter but just want to make sure.

Thanks for the kindness!

These are painted mini-Dunnies, for the record.

These are great! I love woodgrain. Definitely of interest. My ONE LITTLE suggestion would be: smaller bases! I've completely run out of room.

I would prefer them without the bases which would have you think more creatively on the gear you put on them. You could balance this with adding weight on the legs somehow. Maybe some metal on the foot pieces.

I agree, without the base would be better for me.

Hm. Maybe some strong magnets on smaller bases would work.... the wooden heads definitely topple the little guys way too easily! They're filled with Sculpy for a LITTLE extra weight, but it's still not enough.

Thanks again, guys!

And on a PURELY hypothetical level, what would one pay for something like this? I was thinking in the neighborhood of $50 + shipping. Is that unrealistic? This is my first foray into this mini-stuff.

Going to work on making the bases detachable w/ magnets, or somehow more effectively balancing the heavy wooden heads on the plastic bodies.

Experimenting with stuff between shows - made a lion Woodunny for my girlfriend's birthday! And, heeding the suggestions from the forum, made a magnetic base so that the Dunny is now removable! And can even kinda stand on his own, 'cause I shoved him full of Sculpy.

Ever been to a Chipotle? Reminds me of some of the wooden art all around the place.

I like them so much that I'm not going drop a single Blockhead joke in here.

Careful with the magnets near your computers........
