Oh man,

Not fun when you're looking at these pics and your stomach is growling from hunger.

yes, some of the best. fortunately for me there's plenty locally that is just as delicious. and yeah, it was pricey. i spent well over a grand on food for a "weekend trip".

YES we did see eric ripert. he thanked us on our way out...very cool to see the chef there! at per se we also got a tour of the kitchen and saw the infamous tv feed of the french laundry. \:D/

if you're in norcal...as in San Francisco, then i highly recommend coi. was there last month and it was an excellent tasting menu and a steal at "only" $125 compared to per se ($275). let me know if you want to see photos of the food in nyc.

hmmm... never heard of it, might have to check it out.

Best place ive been to around here is Keller's Bouchon in yountville. (French laundry is near impossible, and like S1 Dunnys compared to S3 or something

We should get a legit food thread going in the kitchen sink

I'm young but my family is really foodie and those two restaurants are some of the best I have eaten at, I have a signed Per se menu and i got to go in the kitchen cos they were amazed a 14 (or 15) year old (at the time) was actually at the restaurant (but it wasn't Thomas Keller who signed it it was the head chef there) and love the pictures =)

haha, he got choosen cause he was my only dunny that was "winterized" with the scarf. the high the day of le bernardin was 19 degrees! my wife got attached to him though and bought the devil robots dunny hoodie at krny the next day. now he'll be sticking around.
