I was actually about to bite the bullet and buy one of his 'Kozik Humbug dunny's... but I'm not going to now. Thanks!

The lol about donating money seems a bit insensitive but I'm going to help you anyway.

In a nutshell, If a offer is made and the second party accepts you have a legal contract. Neither party can amend the contract unless both parties agree. If he has agreed to your offer he is legally obligated to give it to you at the price initially agreed upon.

I'm not a lawyer but wife will be soon. She's studing for the bar as I write this.

Thanks for the advice. He accepted my offer via e-bay e-mail. As the auction didn't have a "make an offer" option, I asked him to modify the listing so that I can make an offer for $400. Anyway, the deal is gone now. Sorry if you felt that I'm insensitive.

Yeah, of course it is. And if you want a piece, of course you can pay what you want. But the broader market sets the price and if you were patient and dealt with someone here you'd get it closer to what the market roughly sells at.

Thats not the point. The point is, you keep dealing with this guy and he'll keep bleeding collectors with prices and scamming every chance he gets. And long, long threads like this designed to help people be aware of it get filled up with posts of people who have read it, know about it, deal with it anyway and then whinge about it when there are problems.

We're on the same side, but sympathy wears thin.

I'm sorry. I wanted supakitch so desperately that I had to make an offer despite knowing that it was mark. Anyway, I won't buy supakitch from him. The deal has gone sour, and I won't bid on his items again.

Of note, I tried to get it for nearly 6 months on here but to no avail.

fyi.. .he just won a auction using the id of djsnoop. i already blocked toyboxproductions.

ugh.. he wont cancel the auction so now I am out the final value fee. once again sellers get screwed.
