that robbo b.s. has to stop. we get it, you have beef with banksy. now he (or his cronies) are just trying to get up on banksy's fame. that's some crap.

I think when Robbo had his own private show, he couldn't keep calling Banksy a sell out. Plus, he hasn't been out of his coma for that long.
I think the original argument, about Banksy painting over Robbo's vintage piece, got warped into, "Banksy's a sell out".
But as soon as Robbo was given the chance, he couldn't wait to finally make some money from his art.
A line should be drawn under it though. not very healthy, imvho.

Pretty funny Q&A on his site (along with new images)

http://banksy.co.uk/QA/qaa.html

He explains the Robbo feud and also shows the wall in question over a period of years in various states.

I’m looking for some opinions from fellow Banksy enthusiasts so let me know! If you had to choose from one of these prints which would you pick and why?

signed ‘Jack & Jill’ edition of 350 year 2005

signed ‘Choose Your Weapon / Pink’ edition of 25 year 2010

signed ‘Choose Your Weapon / Grey’ edition of 100 year 2010

I was also considering a ‘Flying Copper’ or ‘Napalm’ but I don’t think either is feasible at the moment for me. I love the colors in ‘Jack & Jill’ and I like how the ‘Choose Your Weapon / Pink’ really pops and would stand out on a wall. I like the ‘Choose Your Weapon / Grey’ just because I like the color grey but it’s the higher edition of the CYW prints.

Opinions ? ? ?

Signed Jack & Jill? If so, that would be my pick of the bunch. Classic! And that's coming from a CYW owner. Flying Copper would be even better though ;)

IM going to have to agree with Ross. I love Jack and Jill, I'd like to have an unsigned on my wall some day. Im not really a fan of CYW. But I will try for the new gorilla one releasing in March (that'll be a nightmare I'm sure)

But my top 3 Banksy pieces i want:
3. Stop and Search
2. Love is in the Air
1. Golf Sale

My other favorite i own...Morons. makes me laugh every time i see it.

CYW grey, because I have a dog and like the design of the print. I choose grey because I'd like a more neutral color.

i have this and it will be going up for sale soon, has full authentication and torn pound note from Dora.

Image

It is the Grin Reaper, but is a signed AP 1/1. They wanted to the normal edition of 300 on this metallic foil, but after Eine test proofed this one, they realized it was too expensive to produce 300 on the foil. So Banksy signed this one and they left it uncut. So it is quite large and framed archivally. Its a really amazing piece and even better that it is one of a kind, as the edition of 300 on flat grey paper just doesnt compare.

Anyone on Touch of Modern? You need to invite a few people to get on there, but that is easily done if you have multiple email accounts.

ANYWAYS, there are about 24 stretched canvas prints of some of his most famous work for about $50 each. A real steal IMO. Check it out!

So the Daily Mail didn't actually have any concrete proof. This piece was from 4 years ago. How can you be so sure?
For those of you who don't know the Daily Mail very well. It's not exactly what you would call a very reliable paper. Mainly gossip and the odd sex offender story, thrown in for good measure.
I'd love to know how you are so well informed about Banksy, and his identity.
I'm not having a go at you, but you made me smile with the matter of fact way you said, "Yep that's robin gunningham/banksy". Like, "who didn't know that" ;)
