I am looking for some really nice spray paint for my paw raw custom.

I have heard tamiya is really good, though I am having a very hard time finding it, and when I do the colors I need are unavailable.

What are any other good brands? I know what brands are good and how they preform and what the colors are like on the wall. But, I have never used spray paint on vinyl figures.

Any help would be great!!!

Thanks!!

montana or belton ...big color selection but probably the most expensive ...you can buy ironlak which is a little cheaper but these are if you are looking for super high quality graffiti type spray ....i personally like 'american accents' that used to be sold at walmart now can only be found at ac moore here ...good color selection for a store paint and with the ac moore 40-50% off coupons its only like 3.80 or something around there ...and then theres always krylon!

oh and if you are looking to paint over the spray then try to find something flat ....unless you just want him one color and glossy then you can use gloss ...MOST graffiti stuff is flat but there is some glossy out there as well ...if you find a flat paint you like and want him glossy you can alway use a clear gloss

I would actually suggest you airbrush. Montana paint covers really well but it's really thick. It gets soft in warm places and can leave fingerprints if you grab it or even scrape/peal off. This has been my experience at least. Airbrush paint is very fine and leaves a better quality appearance. If you use Montana put a fan on it at least over night and then through some clear or workable fixative before painting more.

my belton, montana, and molotow will be arriving very soon, but before that i have beenusing "all city" (http://www.thelaunderground.com/AllCityPaint.html)

VIBRANT colors, and i like the low pressure. BUT, i have yet to use the previous brands TO_designs and myself had mentioned.

I like Montana but I've been itching to try the new Liquitex sprays. Kind of a cool idea--the pigments in the spraypaints correspond to the pigments in the Liquitex acrylics so you can match or complement your colors really nicely when you need to do brushwork as well. Pretty damn expensive though. :(

I saw them at Michaels. Like $13 a can though, so I'd recommend using one of those 40% off coupons. ;)

no ....lol i have 4 cans of this stuff and it does not compare to any good spray paint ....its basically watered down acrylic paint and not a solvent based paint like normal spray ...yeah the colors are good but it has the tendency to be very watery ...not worth the price imo
