Here's something annoying... randomly in the 90s yoyos were "cool" and everyone and their mothers had to have one.

POGS did attempt a "come-back" a few years back. I go to GenCon (a well known gaming convention) every year and each attendee gets a "swag bag" with coupons, fliers, and misc small free products. I don't recall which year it was, but each swag bag had a pack or 2 of new POGS. Nostalgia...

I'm from Japan and don't recognize most of the things in this thread.
I had a couple of Yomega fireball.
I knew a few tricks back then, not sure how I do then now.

Now I wanna go buy me some Yoyo!

i remeber buying a 15 or 20 dollar metal slammer in the shape of a ninja star with a holographic image of a dragon. coolest thing ever...at the time

didnt have tamogachi(my sis did) but there was a boy version of monsters that you trained and connected to fight eachother. the case was shaped like a cage... :evil:

Last year here in Hawaii, I was surprised to see a 2010 POG tournament flier. There was a photo of some little kids playing. Below the flier, there were some OG Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter POGs for sale. Warmed my heart for real.

well, they did begin in Hawaii, so I could understand that they would still be somewhat alive there.

As for slap bracelets, when they came out, they were banned at my elementary school almost immediately.

wha twas the show that had a mother and daughter whos father was from mars and occasionally talked to the daughter through a crystal ball? The daughter had alien abilities as well like freezing time. The mother also eventually played even stevens mom as well i think. Thought that show was awesome as a kid. Born in 85 so i had the best of both generations. 80's re runs and 90's awesomeness!
