i thought i would have a go at creating jesus with a munny, im not a religous guy but i thought it would make a cool muny.

i decided to paint him as the 'blue jesus' which is when he was crucified.
hope you all like it!

the little ''hello my name is..'' sign is based on the sign above jesus on the cross it has the letters INRI which is a latin term for ''Jesus Nazarene, King of the Jews''.

just incase anyone was intrested.

sorry if it did offend anyone, i didnt think it would. the image of the blue jesus isnt just my interpitation, its based on a christian painting of the christ fighting the death.

it should not offend anyone, and if it does, what's the matter? I have always wanted to make a Jesus munny. Some of my ideas are very similar to yours but I think I really would offend some people with my design (on purpose of course) 8-[

. It's not that I'm against christianity or something but It's amazing how quickly and easily they can be offended :-k

. I'm sure if Jesus were alive, He would spit on some people's faces for being hypocrites :---)

Well the first comment was made to piss someone off but my second comment is true haha. It's even stated in the bible.

something about this is sickeningly comical to me. don't get me wrong, it was a great idea, and you did it very well... but something about it just makes me want to laugh a little... and because it's jesus at his crucifixion era, the fact that i want to giggle seems wrong and depraved.

great work, and fresh idea, though. i definitely like it.

not offended one bit.

and more than that, quite a fan actually. = )) rather intrigued as well.
i'd rather people be able to appreciate this and acknowledge that someone who isn't religious (as you've stated yourself) would even be interested in doing a custom Jesus munny as something pretty hopeful or even enlightening. or as simple as it is - art.

great take on it personally. and it shows you've done some research too = ))
the expression is great and color is top choice as well.
weird, but really drawn by lashes on the back, they seem so serene.

thanks for the comments again, the reason i did this munny was simply because of the intrest, although i am a strong disbielver i do have an intrest in this religious bussiness, and im glad you like the custom.

anyway, this little guy is now with boardmember Big Blue Bug!
