i will definitely be getting the 1000% leo either way but would have preferred clear ears because be@rs have similar dome heads like the turtles. astroboy, mazinga, and godzilla are some of the more recent designs they went with clear ears, but maybe they only did clear for horns, spikey hair, etc. anyway, gonna send cjmart a mail regarding US shipping (already know the answer but just in case) before looking into proxy/ebay.

as for the star wars ones, i am tempted by the c3po, would probably prefer the classic design instead of the episode 7 red arm version, but it's still nice. the vader is just lazy i like the og version much better.

I can probably help people get these if it's not insta-sold out after opening.

Series 34 is out now, not blown away by the Chases but still a few designs I would like to get. I did grab the Shoko Byron 400%/100% set yesterday though, reasonably priced in HK and currently easy to find, I might have to grab the brown Neko too as I quite enjoy it in person.

I was hoping this year would be my year, being closer, but the later timing is not working out as much as my Tokyo host will be at SDCC.

if you are not a big star wars or boba fett fan and the only reason for wanting to have it signed is to significantly increase the toy's value, then i'd say don't bother. looking at jeremy bulloch's website, he will sign just about anything for a nominal fee so his autograph doesn't seem all that rare or valuable. i also don't imagine the type of collectors in the market for 1000% bearbricks care enough about the actor's signature to pay much of a premium in this case. if it were say kaws on a dissected bear then it'd be a diiferent story lol.

I expect them to be all over Hong Kong by Monday. I think I might go after the 400% C-3PO, but not sure on the others. Wish I could find the funds for a Fragment Poly Wood too...

Hey Guys. Did you check out the SDCC Exklusive Bait Megatron Brick?

Do you think this will become a regular item in their shop, like the Sriracha Bearbrick?

Post subject:  Re: Official BE@RBRICK Thread

I think it depends on the run and how many are sold at SDCC. I have a friend there so hopefully he is picking up one for me.

Some good looking stuff at the Medicom Exhibition too, Keith Harring and Basquiat versions coming, Punk Drunkers 400 & 1000, Sorayama, Simpsons and more!

homer bearbrick, haroshi wood, and mr. andre ball vcd are highlights for me.

The Haroshi wood is amazing, I would love to get one when they release. I have to see on the Homer, but might need it to go with my Krusty. I did successfully get the Bait SDCC Megatron set, but I don`t yet have it in my possession as it is going from Cali, to Tokyo, then to me in HK...

Just bought a dome from collectingwarehouse on ebay. Grabbed a 13"x5.5" with base shipped in the us for 53 bucks. Highly recommend these for your 400s.

No affiliation just thrilled with the great price and fast shipping. Check out my ig for a pic because i dont know how to post here @bmorerandom

I am not a big fan of glass domes. I think it distorts the bear and makes awkward light reflexes.

I can recommend those self-assemble plastic cabinets. https://www.amazon.de/Tingacraft-Vitrine-Selbstmontage-Display-Actionfigur/dp/B01KV8Y4XE/ref=pd_cp_21_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=BEC05E2Y7TYGV0EWHPZQ

Easy assembling, cristalclear view, good quality and completely dust sealed. I use them for my custom toys for years now.

Post subject:  Re: Official BE@RBRICK Thread

I like a nice bell jar myself, it can distort but I think it looks more classic than some display containers. From the pic Oakley`s might be a bit narrow for my tastes but I still love the look and even more love that Poly wood inside!

Congrats on the amazing piece!!

I don`t think they have a shop but Fatsuma is based in Chicago and carries a lot of Bearbricks and there is also Rotofugi there too.

Yes I plan to check out Roto. At the very least you shed light on a new sight to see bearbrick stock :)
thank you
