Hello!

I was wondering if there is any site you can search for specific bearbricks in order to validate the models?

FYI: I have now ordered about 15 diffrent 100% bearbricks and 1 400%... Bearbricks are highly addictive and my wife is thinking that I'm loosing it

Br,
CJS

ahah tell me about it! I mainly use toysdorado or the classic toys libraries (trampt, rotocasted).

As mentioned Toysdorado is where I go for all my Be@rbick information. Keep on the collecting!!!

Medicom update coming soon and looks like we will see some new Seasme Street designs (Oscar and Big Bird) the Sandtrooper and I think the Stash design should get it's release date too.

Toysdorado seems to be perfect, thank you!

I received my first ones yesterday, a 400% bape camo shark (black) - really nice one!! Too bad the Swedish customs got their hands on it which resulted in 50$ in taxes and fees... The other ones i received was two 70%'s: Happy Be@rbrick [Shishimai] and the Pepsi NEX x Warner Bros [Charlie and the Chocolate Factory] (key chains) which i have on my black leather briefcase now

When you are collecting bearbricks - do you have a clear goal on what do you want? or do you just pick up the ones you think looks great? i do the latter, next week the first of my 15 100%'s will start arriving. I will update with a picture.

Br,
CJS

For 100% I prefer Jellybean and Pattern themes. The bigger ones are completely about the looks. Mostly pattern there too (Pushead, Pollock...)

And sometimes I pick up bears, when the offer is too good to let go. Bargains welcome. The choices are not very great in Germany and everything from Asia/US costs almost double the price, thanks to taxes and custom fees.

usually i collect by designs that i like. i tend to prefer the more japanese oriented designs.

then being a completist, when medicom produces something of the same series... i would end up 'need' to get them... which isn't a collection strategy that i recommend.

I just collect designs of what I like, I tend to lean towards the 400%s of course, but I realize you cannot get them all so I just find what I can, as close to retail as possible and if a deal pops up that helps too. I think I am also up to 9 years of collecting Be@rbricks too which doesn't hurt, living in Asia now makes it pretty easy too, just about money and space.

Hehe I know they are great!

I also would like to find webstore, specially in Europe that you could by new bearbricks from. Atm I have been ordering from ebay, only from sellers with a lot of positive feedback. 1 400% camo shark bape, and now 18 random 100%s. When some more arrive I will post some pictures and see what you guys think. Hopefully they are all legit.

Mvh,
Cjs

Mintyfresh is a great shop, just prices in UK/Europe are too high, save some money and get to Asia and go on a shopping spree!!

Medicom has updated for the month, nothing too surprising, Stash set releasing some time in April, Skytree releasing this Saturday, Sesame Street items up for Order for late August, Sandtrooper unknown and the first trademark teases for Series 34.

I also ordered the 2001 bricks, all 3 sizes. From seeing the prototypes at the Medicom Show last year, they are going to be worth the wait.

I really like the 400% Bricks they're printing with hydrographics/water transfer. I know the Pollock seemed to have some quality issues, but the rest seem to be nice. These are all the ones I know of, and I have the two Pusheads and the Futura. Are there any others I don't know about? Any QC issues with the ones by Ninagawa or Nag?

A 400% Jellybean collection would be nice, different materials I know though.

Nice collection, I enjoy Be@rbricks because we both are collecting yet we don`t have many pieces the same, there can be some diversity in collections as collecting them all is for the privileged few.

I have not seen any quality issues with any of the water transfer models, and really the Pollock is not poor quality it just seems the image used was of poorer quality, not the toy itself.

Hi,

I found some guys selling around 10-12 normal bearbricks from serie 33 for a total of approx 63$ + shipping (high rated seller). Is that too cheap to be legit?

CJS

Normal 100% are not really fake material for bootleger.

Around 6 USD for a bear is a normal retail price in Japan, so it seems to be a legit deal. Do it :D

Stash hits next weekend in Japan. I'm passing, I like stash but the hydro print is so-so and makes the spray cans look like push pins.
