Official BE@RBRICK Thread

Post by 666doll » Tue Apr 17, 2007 5:30 pm

I know for a fact that I am NOT the only Be@rbrick lover / collector out there. That being said and the fact that so many threads drop like rocks making it hard as hell to find the few Be@rbrick related posts, how about an Official thread right here?

Use this thread to post whatever you want about Be@rbrick's, links to what you're looking for or selling in the BST and just all around Be@rbrick goodness.

I'll start.

I recently found my love for be@rbricks. These things are great, when it comes to the small ones I think it's the fact that there are some insanely rare chases in each series and usually they are some pretty sweet designs. I think sometimes they need to pep up the standard designs though but most are still pretty cool. I recently picked up the Chompers 400% 100% set from someone on the boards and I have to say that I am more than happy with it, truly awesome(not quite as awesome as the wood kaws above). I also pulled a Series 13 Skull not long ago so that made my day. But I must say that I am starting to lean towards some of the special edition 100% designs from sdcc and stuff(as you can see from my wants list below). All in all, be@rbricks are great. :D
Great Transactions with: Axine - Momcan - puppetbrain - nmr509 - xerocs - RobotCompanion - thisbwill - tedmcintyre - magicmanjk808 - agg - ChefJt - snoe robot - nac - Mr Atom - hazeltherabbit - Meary - Fantazn - igbid - haseown - =DuNnYnNuD= - wtfunks - redblueyellow - leinad - YummyOreos - Turboice

The Skull design from S13 is killer. They are releasing a 400% version of that piece a little later this year.

I actually have a couple of the pieces you're looking for as extras. Let me know.

Keep this thread alive peeps!

a series 6 be@rbrick was the first toy i ever bought... and i pulled the stussy chase. :D

i sold most of my little be@bricks as i didn't have many to start with, i wanted to start collecting 400% be@rs but never really got around to it. but my fave is probably the kaws wood + kaws chompers. soooo nice.

Thank you. I should have ideabolo come out and shoot my collection and put it in his book!

I am only a few away from a complete chase / artist set of Brick's from series 1-13. Since I have been on the hunt for ages and haven't had many hits I am now onto the 400% figures. Trying to collect those now. At least the ones I enjoy. Some of the designs are bogus. Like a lot of the corporate sponsored ones. I do have a Kaws wood piece and the 10th Anniversary wood piece. I'm on the hunt for the Commes wood piece that has multi-hard woods. It's a nice piece and I have NEVER seen one in person or for sale anywhere... Has to be the most elusive of the bunch. Second has to be the Chanel 1000%

You are right, the wood version are the best of the lot and the CDG wood is the most elusive. I think there's only a handful of these around. One day, if I have to sell mine, I will keep u in mind :D

For me, the micheal lau 400% is also another master piece!

You should also go for the 1000%!!!! Awesome.

Be@rbricks were my first collectibles.
I started from there and hopped over to vinyls.
I dig mainly the 400% size since personally I appreciate relatively large sized collectibles.
My beloved, prepare to die...

the bearbrick is my favorite platform toy. the early bape series are my favorite. the camouflage is just lovely.

they're actually what got me to choose my kr messageboard name.

kozik humbert and HF leopard are my favorite 1000%

wood kaws is my favorite 400%

WHOA! Hold the presses! Are you telling me / us that you have one of the CDG Wood 400% pieces? If that's so, pictures PLEASE!!!!

I like the Michael Lau piece, but they never did release a 400% of that, did they?

I have one 1000%, the recent Mastermind.

Being completely out of touch with what's popular, I recently started collecting the Sex Pistols Bearbricks. Toy Tokyo carries a lot of them, and it looks like I have all but the Who Killed Bambi 400% and the England's Dreaming 100%. Anybody else into these, or know anything more about them and what the release schedule might be like?

Excellent start. The "Who Killed Bambi" version of the Sex Pistols 400% pieces is out now. Matter of fact, we're selling them here;

http://devildollrecords.com/E_Store/pro ... ts_id=1154

The Englands Dreaming piece has been out for quite a while now and is NOT a Sex Pistols piece, but a Keanan Duffty piece. It came as both a 400% and a 100% piece, sold separately.
