Woebots pieces

Post by robotkid333 » Tue Jun 20, 2017 10:38 am

Anyone know what the "resin" material is the choppers and PKs are made of? The production process for the OG PK vs the shiny glass looking kind (polar, honey, marauder), the hand painted PKs and choppers feel like stone rather than plastic......any resin out there that seems like stone when set rather than the shiny plastic? High polish to get that shine if you do go w plastic resin? Or is there high temperatures involved as it appears on the production photos?

Anyone know the type of paint used? regular acrylic?

i'm not quite sure what resin is used, but you can try contacting Silent Stage Gallery. as far as paint used, Aaron uses spray paint and acrylic...different brands.
