Looking for advice on buying KAWS Dissected Companion

After years of small-fry collecting, I have decided to buy a KAWS piece, and chose the brown dissected companion. I am OK with paying market price (but would of course happily pay a little as possible!) My worry is to get a genuine original in optimal condition. There are three for sale on eBay, from $1300-1375, all claiming to be "guaranteed 100% genuine", of course. It is tough to see anything backing up that claim, and I worry my money will be wasted.

What is the advice for entering a transaction like these? Are there better places than these eBay sellers? Do I risk getting a fake?

Maybe wait on eBay and hassle them for a lower price 950 to 1000 range and always use PayPal........buying on the boards now has took a huge blow now ...check the thread
