Call me crazy, but I'll take the lighter figures, if it keeps em at ten bucks.

Thanks Hed.

Weight and solidity aside, how do they stack up in terms of paint work/finish, design, colours etc. It's difficult to judge them based on eBay and general online images alone as I know most of the images have been altered to improve the contrast ratio etc, which makes them look better then the really are. I am getting the impression it's only an issue of weight, and that everything else is pretty good? Am I wrong? Do they fall short in other areas too?

@Jeff yes I agree. Cost is the biggest factor for me.
@Mr hankey The paint work is at par if not slightly better in my opinion.

Man oh man though, the quality sucksssssss. I'm pretty disappointed. The paint is off and the figure definitely feels cheaper :/. Oh well.

Disappointing to hear that people don't rate the quality; I'm fairly sure that I remember thinking the same thing about the first South Park series in hand though, especially compared to how substantial the Simpsons and Futurama series were.

Just got in my case yesterday. Here's the order of how they came in mine. Mosquito was missing his nose but I've already contacted KR customer service and they took care of me.

Found an untouched case at Hot Topic, already had most of the figures from the set but wanted to test out the layout and chase the GITD Mysterion. Layout worked...unfortunately Mintberry Crunch was in the front middle spot as it was the 3/40 case and not the 1/40. Went for Call Girl too and got her. If I find another untouched case, I'll go for Mosquito and GiTD. Otherwise, I'm done with the set. Can we please get a series 3 of Futurama now?

On the Kidrobot website the ratios include a 1/20 Bard. Anyone know what happened to poor Jimmy? Sorry if this has been asked before.

looked like they took the gid Radioactive Man out already. So these were supposedly sold out at the con right? All 1000 and then more went up for sale on the website. Does this mean they held some back or worse, there were actually more than 1000 produced.

I reckon they didn't sell all 1000 at NYCC. I hate to think they'd produce more than 1000... don't put it past them though.

Just received my Coon medium figure and am not disappointed - excellent sculpt and detailing. Had been waiting what seemed liked ages for a UK seller, but luckily Star Action Figures came to the rescue. Think it completes a pretty fantastic set of 3 larger pieces for Cartman too.

How do other people - specifically UK collectors - feel though about the prices of the medium figures? This one was £45, and when I compare it to the likes of Hedonismbot, which wasn't much different in terms of quality and was more like £30 at release, I find a 50% increase over 2 and a bit years a little hard to stomach.
