Im sick of just sitting on my a$$, watching news from Japan, and doing nothing, so I decided to start a thread where Im gonna list all the art/toy related fundraising sales that I come across.. this way, you get to go on with your hobby, and help people that NEED any help they can get, at the same time...

you're welcome to add the ones you know about...

so, here we go...

* Kaiju For Japan project, more info here

* Japan Earthquake Relief series prints for $15 @ ThePosterCause

* check out Sbbenhcs' tsunami relief sale

* Sweet Streets LA and JapanLA Join Forces for PrayForJapan Benefit Art Show

* Ally Takeuchi Cipriani (swoon gallery owner) is selling art on her Facebook page

Image
soft vinyl figures from Gargamel, $20/piece, buy HERE, more info @ Spanky's

Image
Shawnimals will donate 100% of the net proceeds on the sale of these two items to the Red Cross, read more here

Image
"Hokusai Tsunami", open edition print by Pure Evi, £100, available here

Image
Bobby Chiu drawing + "Ancient Japan Sketches" book will be auctioned on Thursday, more info here

Image
'Army for Japan' Tshirt, $20.00, preorder here

don't wanna be a "layout nazi" here, but I think it would be a good idea if you could list your suggestions along with the preview image (if possible).. that way chances are bigger that someone will click on the link, and eventually proceed with purchase..

THANK YOU!

I grabbed the gargamel figures! I'm so astounded to see so many different artists and groups offering support.

PS it's also awesome to grab a nice piece while helping japan out!

Back up for the best of causes! I've got family in Fukushima so we are watching the NHK news feed about the reactors like hawks.

If anyone's willing to donate a kaiju piece, i'd love to paint one up for Kaiju for Japan. Otherwise, i think I'm just gonna paint a dunny to look like kaiju >.>
