Anyone tried TRAMPT yet?

(Hopefully this is okay in this thread - if not, just let me know.)

Anybody know of this site Trampt? Might be old news, but I just discovered it. It's pretty awesome so far - good place for artists, collectors. It's relatively open, so customizers can set up artist pages/portfolios for themselves.

Joined Trampt about a month ago. So far my favorite layout and interface of all the other "toy database" sites. Great place to organize your collection, too...

I dunno. I like it...

Trampt is nice but I've put too many toys into Rotocasted to even think of making a new database profile.

joined trampt about 2 months ago its a pretty cool site awesome database and i cant wait for the marketplace to open up the new conversation starter is great also you can talk about the new customs that were just made and other vinyls.

mile do a search on the trampt site you will see a lot of the artists from the forums and boardies have also joined.

So i was having a look around the TRAMPT website and its actually a really good resouce and a really well made site. I set myself up and its cool to be able to catalogue your collection etc.

It's gonna go on for 100 days! They don't want to pay advertising, so instead, they are giving away extra stuff they have or donated by artists. Smart business really.

I've been messing around on there more today and stand by my statement that its a really good site with a lot of potential if more people get involved.

Its good for art prints as well as toys.

And no I don't work for them - just reallly like the site!

Don't get me wrong. It's a good site. I use it regularly. But they mentioned a few weeks ago that this method of promotion would no longer be rewarded, and seeing more of this stuff is leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

I hadnt read about the promotion to be honest - having now read it i see where your coming from - its sounds pretty difficult to win to be fair.

I have spent a bit of time adding some josh keyes prints today and i find the whole site a lot smoother than rotocasted and better in general. I really hope more people pick it up.

whats the real point of the site other than keeping track of what you have and want?

You can chat about specific items and when the marketplace gets up and running you can pinpoint who has what for sale with relative ease etc and it will track a history of selling prices on different pieces so you can work out a fair value which will be helpfull.

what time I have spent on the site I definitely dig the setup. I hope to get to use it more, the marketplace should definitely be interesting.

They really should contact the guys over at CAG (Cheapassgamer) and talk to them about their marketplace. It looks to be the exact same setup that Trampt is going for with a feedback system and all.
