I've already got the bot head from KYUU, so if it's the exact same head again, not in a different color or size, I'd happily split the set with you. Have no need for another of that head.

I had the same sentiments regarding AP humanoid figures but couldn't really tell if my feel is correct until I received the Zombkin set. 1/6 pumpkin head simply blew the 1/12 mini away. Though the 1/12 is still excellently made, it is the 1/6 that exudes the X-Factor.

I might be up for splitting a set too for the bot head if anyone's interested.

zelevol shared on finger issues. I freed my whisper ghost today and as I picked him up gently he broke in two, more specifically the middle joint thingy(or whatever it's called) broke in two. so this is his current state...

maybe the plastic it's made of is not strong enough. not sure if others have similar issues or have busted theirs open to check. or it could be that i was just unlucky with this one. cheers

^ That connector post looks too thin and brittle, like uncooked spaghetti. Guess mine is staying MOC since I am not sending anything into 3A for repairs anymore. It's been over 2 months since I sent my RVHK heads in for repairs and they are seemingly lost in the mail system now. :?

I sent in a 1/12 jungle DC for a broken ankle and they said something about them not having the right part so they would fit it with a 1/6 part... Hope that doesn't look weird... I also sent in an Itami arm for one of the joints not being able to move and a couple weeks after it got there they emailed me and said they can't fix it and are just sending it back :(

What's happening CS?

I wouldn't say the ship is sinking, 3A will motor forward and continue to grow. I just wish they would implement stricter QC methods and start spot checking finished product before shipping. Also beef up the hatchery work force and office staff to stay on point with the massive growth spurt they've had. When 3A does it right, there's nobody that can touch them....but when they're wrong it creates this tension among customers and divides us. I know we all want them to succeed but are also going to be very vocal when they screw up (on here anyway). I'm sticking with 3A because I still believe in them, and hope the future holds great things.

A broken toy from threeA = ship has sunk and company is imploding?
Thus concluding the world must be ending ....

I hate to hear this when you were being so gentle with it :(

I've always been told (and maybe someone here can verify or nix) that the process of making toys GITD often can make them more brittle and prone to damage/breaking. I've been concerned about this one since he's such a thin bot. Where as I don't really have any concerns with say the GITD Bertie due to his size (although I guess the fingers could always be an issue).

Anyone going to see The Dark Knight Rises (and I figure a few of you could be) might want to start revising your expectations downwards in order to avoid disappointment.

Is this based on your having seen it?

I just saw it this morning and thought it was excellent. A bit predictable in parts but still an extremely engaging film and I enjoyed it throughout.

Opinions vary, not saying either of us is wrong vs right, but as someone who was very excited for it, it did not disappoint.

If you have a poor mix the gid pigment will have thicker swirls in the material which means weaker plastic, sort of invisible marbeling, it shouldn't really happen in a factory if the qc is high. I've messed up some resin with the same issue though (and didn't sell the messed up ones!) if it is properly sifted and mixed this won't happen.

Its not even just sh!t QC to blame at this point for issues like that, but poor design planning. An entire figures weight section based on one tiny brittle bit of plastic? Really? Thats when you need to start using metal parts in your tiny toy or rethink the design. The same thing comes back to things like the Heavy Brambles launchers being far too solid pieces of vinyl to ever be longterm holdable weapons. Sometimes reality catches up to Ash's stubborn design stipulations and physics and gravity dont play nice with real life depictions of cartoons.
