Hey thanks a lot Misha. :D I dry brushed with acrylic paints. You're right about the paint getting damaged so I am going to have to cover everything except the connecting joints as I am planning on heating them up in order to attach them. Don't really want to use glue.

Hey everyone, thank you for the compliments on my dude! It means a lot :)

@Yardarn51 actually yes I do have some process pics. Almost posted teasers like 10 times but I knew if I did I would lose my own motivation to make it... So anyway here are some pics

with mushroom thing
Image

all parts
Image

extremely crude hat sculpt
Image

test
Image

at first I was actually going to have one leg leaning against the car (car was going to be different, this one was just to make sure 1:18 looked good next to it...)

(like this kid)
Image

Image

Image

that did NOT work, leg had to be glued back together...
Image

Image

test bandana which I didn't paint yet
Image

hair test with a different head
Image
Image

tried to make clothes for him cuz I wasn't sure if the body looked too skinny with the arms up. looked kinda good but was too lazy to continue there
Image
Image

I made three baseball bats before realizing that I had to put a brush lol (also unintentional teaser of the other one)
Image

and another teaser...
Image

anyway thats a lot of me me me but hopefully you enjoyed the process
Please help me find THESE

Looks awesome Mika!

I hope everyone here who routinely gives you a hard time takes a look at this and realizes your talent and how much you've grown.

Keep it up man!

Didn't get the wings done in time so this lil guy didn't make it to Designer Con but here it is.

The wings are magnetic and come off with ease, one of the magnets is inside of the toy and you can see the other one on the wings.

Lol, just finished a shoot and didn't realize you had already posted pics of him! ^^^^^^

Well, anyway, here are some pics at his new home :)
This guy is beyond cool! Same way it was to see a rebel captain after only seeing original inks, seeing a new head on the rebel ink body (and wings!) was just too cool for me to not buy haha. Not to mention a killer paint job. Definitely one of my favorites in my collection. THANK YOU FUREEK

And don't forget to click on the images to see them better ;)

If you ever get tired of the wings it has now I can make you a new set. Just lmk.

Good gods man! That's amazing but you must have the most understanding partner to be able to do that. ;)

Indeed I do, she's amazing! ;) and a toy collector too (that helps)

It was my only criteria when choosing a house was an internal garage conversion ;)
It does double as my home office too haha

theres the black and white with flocked wings, the white, there's 2 champagnes also... just a figure that had potential, but not when it barely stood on its own... a breath would make it fall over.

Naw. He's gone through quiet periods in the past too.Eventually he'll pop out another colour. He isn't quite as nuts as RealHead when it comes to producing a million colour variations but he isn't far off.
