I'm not much for licensed stuff, but both of those Adventure Time figures are really well done.

The price of the Lego releases compared to their size is unreal. I learned my lesson with the Indiana Jones release several years ago, but it's amazing to see how much smaller the exclusives are getting for the same price...

Oh, and Scribe's Scrimshaw Mattenoot looks amazing-where do I find details on price, release date/time, size, etc...? Really dig the blue.

KIDROBOT AND WUZONE’S PREMIERE COLLABORATION REVEALED FOR SAN DIEGO COMIC CON

Image

From sunny Seville, Spain, WuzOne draws inspiration from graffiti, typography and cartoons. He has developed an identifiable style known for clean lines, bright colors and high contrast.
Kidrobot has long been a fan of WuzOne’s brilliant designs and customs. For his first ever Kidrobot production piece, The Wuz takes inspiration from a truth-challenged marionette and presents the No String on Me 8” Dunny!

Image

"This design is an example of what I have painted for seven years and also my current line of work. I have always attached great importance to the clean lines, bright colors and high contrasts. I am happy to finally have a production piece that will reach everyone. I think this Dunny will be a breath of fresh air anyone’s collection.” said WuzOne on his No String On Me piece.

No Strings on Me will be available for the first time at Kidrobot’s San Diego Comic Con booth #5645 in limited quantities. No Strings on Me will retail for $60. Minutes

Kidrobot and Junko Mizuno are delighted to reveal the long awaited Violet Soda Lady 8” Dunny with a special San Diego Comic Con Exclusive color-way, Berry Chocolate Lady.

Image

“The Purple Soda Girl Dunny that I designed in 2012 was very hard to create, so I’m really happy & excited that her big sisters, Violet Soda Lady and Berry Chocolate Lady, are coming out! I hope they will find a lot of happy owners! I think of my Purple Soda Girl Dunny from 2012 as a daughter of Kuro Megami that I designed for Kidrobot Black Series. When I designed her, I was using the photos I took of old god and goddess statues at Asian Art Museum as reference. So Kuro Megami is kind of like a goddess representing my art. Purple Soda Girl and the two new 8” Dunny’s are all her daughters who have the same goddess-like feeling.” said Junko Mizuno on her inspiration for creating Violet Soda Lady and Berry Chocolate Lady.

Berry Chocolate Lady will be available at Kidrobot’s San Diego Comic Con booth in limited quantities.
Violet Soda Lady will release in stores and online this July. Both pieces will retail for $100.

Junko Mizuno will be on site at Kidrobot’s San Diego Comic Con booth #5645 to sign autographs and feature Berry Chocolate Lady.

It’s that time of year folks! San Diego Comic-Con 2015 is just a couple weeks away and this year will be extra special, as we will be incorporating our new San Diego retail space in the festivities. Before we get into that, let’s get into what vinyl toys we will have available at our Booth #4945!

First Best Fiends X Kidrobot Figures to Include Best Fiends’ Slug Characters

Kidrobot, the premier creator and dealer of limited edition art toys, and Seriously, a mobile entertainment start-up, today announced that they will debut their collectible Best FiendsTM branded vinyl at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2015. This marks Kidrobot’s first creation of products for a mobile game and Seriously’s first expansion into physical toys as they build out a global entertainment franchise.

The Best Fiends X Kidrobot Slug vinyl figures will be available for purchase for the first time at SDCC. The male “Devourer” and female “Lola” Slugs will be available in both black and glow-in-the-dark editions. The Slug vinyl figures will also launch for order on Amazon.com and shop.bestfiends.com simultaneous to their release at SDCC. These limited edition Slug vinyl figures will retail for $49.99.

Image

“Working with Seriously to bring Best Fiends to life is just the kind of work that fires us up here at Kidrobot,” said Bob Africa, President, Kidrobot. “It’s a creative partnership that blends their fun and imaginative approach to mobile with our art-centric style to product design.”

In addition to the premiere of the vinyl figures, Best Fiends will have a presence at Kidrobot’s booth with a full takeover on Saturday, July 11th from 9:00 am until noon. During this time, fans will have a chance to win special prizes including a SDCC limited edition Best Fiends premium screen print, as well as meet the lead character artist for Best Fiends, Miguel Francisco.

Image

Further, to support the launch of the products, Best Fiends will release a game update which will introduce the super rare Best Fiends X Kidrobot “Labbit” fiend. The products will be featured in videos from some of the world’s biggest YouTube stars such as EvanYouTube, ToyBoxCollectibles and FGTeev.

“Our company is full of Kidrobot fans and we’re thrilled to be working together,” said Andrew Stalbow, Co-Founder and CEO, Seriously. “We think of our app as the platform for our world and characters, and we’re excited to extend our content experience beyond our award-winning mobile game.”

Further Best Fiends collectibles from Kidrobot are slated for release later in 2015.
