between this and the freeney leak, the excitement really gets killed. And by the time these products launch, people have already moved on to a dozen other things. I really wish KR would stop this preorder nonsense 6 months out
My wish list - the one and only thing:
Noferin Pecan Pal: Colored version Fanelli
sales thread http://forums.kidrobot.com/viewtopic.ph ... 0#p2065190
100+ Buying, selling, muling transactions over the years. Plenty of references.

I 100000% agree. It kills everything fun about this now.
I get why they do it but sheesh it sucks. I talked to poor guru the other day and they cant even get BTV images like they used to.

This is probably why I still haven't bought any Odd Ones yet. I was super excited and by the time they came out.. I'm just burnt out and don't feel like throwin down 200+ bucks for a case with dupes. Will probably eBay this series.

He's right ya know. Everyone complained about being left in the dark and not knowing when things were coming, IF things were coming, what was gonna get canceled, what could have been but never was.

I appreciate the transparency. Yeah it kinda sucks seeing all the vectors dropped at once, but stuff has been so on point it just makes me wanna see the finished product more and more. Our little behind the vinyl was dope because we actually got to see some sneak peeks at stuff before it was completely announced, but if I've gotta trade that for cool crap to keep coming out, it's an easy choice lol.

KOZIK wrote:the REALITY of COMMERCE
I feel ya, Kozik. I feel like the "reality" these days is that people's attention spans and constant need for quick jolts of excitement have left behind a culture of "need it now, or never" buyers.

I simply don't understand why someone would lose interest in something just because they have seen the reveal. What if that's how kids or relationships worked? (I really wanted this kid, until it was born...) What if that's how jobs worked? (I've worked my whole life to be where I am now, but... meh.) Are people really that flighty when it comes to art and their personal tastes?

Maybe I'm just weird, but when I like something, I like it for good. For always. For the same reasons I fell in love with it when I first saw it. I honestly couldn't care either way: leave some mystery before the big reveal, or show me the entire thing all at once. Doesn't matter to me. If I like it, I will want it. If I want it now, chances are fairly good I'll want it when it comes out 4 months from now. And if I pre-order something, I'll be looking forward to its arrival like a kid on Christmas.
Great deals with:

People like to complain about everything. If it comes out with no notice, they wanted to hear about it a year before... If there is a pre-order, they want it to be released day of. The reality is as long as the products are awesome, I'll be buying it either way.

Keep making great vinyl! Thanks for all the hard work.

Personally I don't like all the plush stuff, but they sell, and the money helps keeps KR going so I'm all for it.
