Is KR going to have Mecha Zangief available Thursday morning at the KR booth? Just read this from the SDCC unofficial blog:

"KidRobot Mecha Zangief figure ($12): Kidrobot’s ongoing SF series continues with this Capcom Store exclusive! Mecha Zangief appears for the first time and limited to only 1300 units – ONLY available at the Capcom Store. Mecha Zangief’s final image isn’t ready yet – but it’s safe to assume it’ll be amazing just like all the other Kidrobot Street Fighter figures. Only 250 units will be sold each day, first come-first served."

Wow, Cardboard Spaceship is killin' it this year. All sorts of amazing stuff.

Just a reminder to anyone who's attending - especially those muling for other people - that you should call up your credit card company and let them know you'll be doing some heavier spending in San Diego. It will save you many, many headaches.

For some things like Circus Posterus where I need speed, yes. Otherwise, no. It may take a little longer sometimes, but I like having an exact record of what I spent and where it went. Cash gets messy really quick with the clutter of smaller bills that build up in my pocket. I end most days wondering where it all went and whether I accidentally dropped some of it.

To each their own, though. I'm more of a digital guy. My dad, on the other hand, has bought everything in his entire life, except cars and his house, with cash.
