I don't get why someone would pay for something then never claim it. What a weird thing to do.

I think course of action is going to be giving them another pm. If they don't respond, the figure gets sold to someone else. And I will use the part of the sale money to refund them just for the retail cost of the toy simply just to not cause a stink and make it seem like I am some shady mule that runs off with people's money.

Thoughts, opinions still welcomed...
As long as you don't mind taking the time to sell it, then I think that's a fair solution. It seams like you've definitely put in the effort to contact the buyer, so it's his loss if he doesn't respond by the time you sell it. Just make sure to save all the emails/PMs in case he decides to file a PayPal claim.

Good luck with this and cheers for being an honest person! I think a lot of other folks would be like, f...it and keep the loot. A hassle indeed.

If it's a scam (or even backing out of a deal), they're doing it wrong :)

Still, what an odd position to be in.

I agree with what others have said - PM one more time, and if there is activity but no contact (they log on and check PMs), keep the tip, refund the cost, sell to someone else.

"A fool and his money are soon parted."

Sell the toy, keep the tip, and keep his money in a separate savings account. If he comes back to you, refund the money that he paid for the toy, and tell him that you went well out of your way to not only procure the item, but saved it, and provided copious communication as to shipping and delivery of the item.

This is an industry/scene that moves quickly, and if you can't keep up, or at least keep in touch, you are going to miss out. Much respect for not screwing him over. You deserve some serious kudos! Hell, you deserve props for muling at all!

Laughed

I wonder if you'd get a PM response if you posted it up in the Sales forum? ;)

It shows good integrity to try, and if you just can't connect, to hold onto it or then refund him and sell it. +Karma!

I'm still trying to figure this out myself!

With the exclusivity of SDCC toys, I don't understand why the buyer wouldn't be on it immediately, especially since it's already paid for and all he has to do is pay for shipping!

Or post it to the B/S/T as:
