Thats because of the Designer Toy Awards. It was an awful idea bindling the two because the awards brought press and people that basically doubled the crowd. After they were over half the people cleared out and it was super fun.

I was looking at the sdcc2011 forum and there were so many threads on there. No one has started an events or parties thread. I would but i only know one, the Munky KIng party

Guys I just found out my hotel has parking but doesn't guarantee you'll find a parking spot (ugh)

I looked into all the prepaid parking places and they're sold out.

What other options do I have? My hotel is: Quality Inn Airport SeaWorld Area

The address is below to give you an idea of the area. Am I overestimating how crazy parking is? SHould I be okay? I've just heard horror stories.

From my Hotel I was thinking I'd just take a cab to the convention center.

Yea, I don't think they go to where my hotel is.
