But you kinda think maybe he stole your idea for single figure display cases?

His price point on the single fig displays is MUCH more reasonable than the pods were.
$5 vs $30 (I think)

I got elbowed in the mouth during the Bell drop, and even I think 100% muling fees are stupid unless the buyer wants to be nice and suggest it first. If you're in it to get your fair share rather than help others, then please don't mule.

P.S. I'd be interested in hearing if anyone on this boards actually had a Mule successfully mule them an Andrew Bell or a Huck Gee. And if so, how much did you have to pay as a fee? Anyone on these boards that muled these exclusives for someone and did so for under $100 is a God Damn Hero.

A buddy mule a bell for me free of Mule fee, but I did throw some extra cash his way anyways. I was also offered the huck at cost, free of fee, but declined as I spent too much money already... Then again I muled a TON last year, so I guess good boardie karma comes to those who earn it! =)

I had someone mule me bell and huck with absolutely no mule fees. Of course i will be giving him something as a thankyou. There are nice people out there that do it to help. Others see it as a business and thats something id stay away from.

Well, the Pods weren't practical. I couldn't make them at a reasonable price so I don't make them anymore. I have the two prototypes on my site, once they're sold that is it. He can bring them down to $5 because they're made out of a much cheaper material and are made in China.

Eh, I kind of regret bringing this up. I have my suspicions but it's unfair of me to make any accusation. Nevemind, I take it back.

I guess I'm just still living in the shock of how awful the scene was there. Kudos to all the awesome boardies that muled these for people with low or no mule fees. We should get some names so you can be publicly acknowledged for your awesome work. Getting one of these was just insane.

It's always interesting to hear how different everyone else's experiences were from mine...

For Chuckboy on Thursday, I got in the Exhibit Hall line upstairs around 7:15, which is always the first line let in when the doors open, so even though they shunt you down to the G door I've found it to be the best way to get in. I wasn't that close, actually around the back of the Convention Center, and had no problem getting a wristband. I also thought the timed bands were a GREAT idea because there was no waiting when I went to buy and have the Labbit signed, plus Chuckboy signed my sketchbook. So kudos to Kidrobot for the signing/purchasing process.

On Friday I chose Hall H over the AB Dunny so no info there.

For Huck on Saturday I got in line for the Exhibit Hall around 7:30, maybe even later, and was even further back in the line. They opened the doors to the Exhibit Hall early (around 9:15 instead of 9:30), and when I walked over to the Kidrobot booth I was told wristbands for Huck were being handed out at 10:30. I came back around 10:45 and got a wrist band no problem. I ended up not buying the Huck, so at least one person without a wrist band that wanted the piece was able to get one.

I missed SDCC last year and was only there on Thursday the year before that, but everytime there's been a Kidrobot Exclusive I wanted (in 2009 I got the Lucky Cat & Amanda Visell Labbit the same way, and the Kozik Ancient Bob Slug in 2008), I've stood in line for the Exhibit Hall, walked to the booth, and received a wrist band every time. I just go there first and have had a lot of success that way.

+1!!
Paul is a fantastic boardie! He tried to get me hypnotoad and homer but he wasn't able to... but that's not a problem! :D he also muled for me 2 other great pieces! including the Luke Chueh Root Down wood print, signed and sketched! he didn't ask for specific tip! He even did send me a refund, because of the homer and the hypnotoad!
Also a big shout out to roguerebel who did get a Chueh's target for me! That being a heavy piece! and I bet carrying with it all day was a pain!!! he didn't ask for some specific fee!
I really appreciate what you both guys have done for me!
I'm really grateful with them both, and specially grateful that they didn't charged me like other people in here would... because... "100% fee is not enough!"

(ps. If anyone is willing to sell a homer buddha please let me know... thanks)

This is what I did last year and had no problem! The only thing I missed out on last year for anyone was 3A. For some reason, no matte how early I got there tons of people were already in line.. Damn exhibitors!

I think anyone that mules be compensated whatever they ask and if you feel they did an extra good job on a harder piece to get, give a little extra. it's only polite. Treat it how you'd like to be treated.

Alright, this must be directed at me. I feel bad with the direction I went with saying 100% fee is not enough. I think I was misunderstood. I was really just trying to convey the craziness to those who were not there. Because I had no idea prior to going how insane it was.

Can't wait for SDCC 2013.

I normally stay out of these but this fukn comment is just flat out fukn retarded.

The next time people beg??? yeah like you didnt post a hundred fukn times about your services and how you could get anything anyone wanted. Basicaly you were the one begging for people to pay you to get them pieces. Get a real job

I have a real job and I was SUCCESSFUL on 100% of the items I muled not counting the ones that were cancelled by DKE Toys. I was 8 for 8 and came through for each and every one. I've gotten requests for 2013 SDCC already and I'm gladly mule for them.

Trust me. Anybody who goes to Comic Con and wakes up at 4am, stands in line for 5 hours, and then risks physical injury running through an angry hoard of people for what is ultimately still only about a 1 in 50 chance of getting a wristband - just to buy it for a stranger, deserves AT LEAST 100 bucks.

If you experienced what it was like to get one of these you'd have a different opinion. Trust me. I thought just like you last week.

For truth

I guess from reading from other peoples posts, your mileage may vary

Someone said they simply walked up to booths and got exclusives no problem...then there's others that noticed or were part of the craziness (pushing, etc) but they realize it's all part of the game...

And again you go with what others experienced... not the word OTHERS and not yourself. Dude I really want you to go to SDCC next year and I really hope you get tickets because I want to see what you post if you miss out on an exclusive that you really wanted.

Also great price by the way on the price of your Attaboy you had a few weeks ago for 40.00 plus shipping that you lowered to 30.00 plus shipping when they could be had on here for 17.00-22.00 delivered. You do such a great job of being a boardie with FAIR pricing.
