I'm brand new to this forum (as you can see, my sign up date is today) but I've been around other trading sites so I know the gist of how things work, what's expected of newer members, ect. I understand that the value of things are "whatever someone is willing to pay" but is there a place I can find a general value of some of the toys? I'm starting to seriously collect a few series of 5" and under toys and have a couple doubles I would like to trade or sell. With the toys that have a 1/24 or 2/24 ratio it's easy to get a value... but I've got a couple smorkin labbits that are "mystery" ones and I wouldn't know what to ask for for them. I've read through the rules but haven't seen any kind of answer, if there even is one. Any help on this would be appreciated. I look forward to becoming an active member of this community and to expanding my newest addiction.

Hi Everyone =)
I'm really new to the boards. I starting looking around after I sent in my scavenger hunt stuff. My partner and I would really love to continue adding to our collection. I was wondering if there were any tips for new buyers?
Any tips would be appreciated.

I didn't really see any info anywhere else so sorry if this has already been addressed.

Oh, this was a great help, thanks! I was wondering why I couldn't post images in a sales thread yet. Well, I will go post and hang around the forums for the time being

Re: Tips for new sellers
updating your sales threads is always nice, remove the pics of the crap you've sold, and/or adjust the title accordingly please.

Re: Tips for new sellers
Was considering starting a new thread for this, but figured I'd test the waters here first.
Great shipping tip for new sellers:
Sign up for "Click n Ship" via Paypal. Allows you to pay for and print your shipping labels from home. No trip to post office required. More importantly, you get a discount. I ship dunnys for $1.41 each and this includes delivery confirmation!
Follow up tip: When someone pays you via Paypal, ask them to mark it as a "gift". That way Paypal doesn't take out fees. HOWEVER, this means you do not get the buyers address (since it's supposedly just a gift of money
), BUT just ask the buyer to send 1 cent (a penny) separately to the same account, but this time mark it for "goods" - hey presto, you get the buyers address and you're good to go. Yeah, it's slightly more hassle for buyer, but I certainly don't mind doing it for fellow boardies. And we all like to save money so we can hand it over to KR, right?
