Thanks for the tips! I'm pretty new to the forums, but was hoping to also sell/trade some of my figures. These guidelines are definitely helpful.

I have a question. I am beginning to build up my collection, and I think that I am going to try to trade or sell some of my stuff in the near future. My question is, if you are missing the box, not anything else, from the dunny you are trying to sell or trade, does that seriously affect the value of the dunny? I was not aware when I was younger that it was a thing to keep the boxes and foil for blindbox toys.

It really depends on the buyer some buyers want the orginal box and all orginal accessories.
I would say the missing box can drop the price a small bit but its not as important as the item being mint with all accessories if the piece comes with any.
I just think its important to list everything up front if the box is missing list it, if the box is not mint offer to send pics upon request of the condition. Also if the piece has any scuff marks or any marks at all even.
If it is missing an accessory list the exact accessory missing. Honesty goes along way.

And on as side note as coasterbear mentioned if a sale goes bad be calm try to please the buyer as much as possible within reason remeber he is buying from you and if you plan on selling any more pieces in the future on the board 1 really bad review from a boardie can make further transactions hard on you. If you make a promise to ship something follow through on the promise, if you cant atleast email or message the user why you could not and that you will ship the very next day. Good communication is key.
I beleive the buyer should never have to hunt down the seller for updates on something they purchased but thats just how I do things.

I don't think I saw it answered here so a question on packaging:

When I do ebay auctions I charge $1 for packaging (nice box + foam padding) on top of the shipping but I don't see that on here. What's the typical etiquette for this? Do people eat the cost of the packaging material? Or do they just add it to the shipping?

Hello, is it acceptable or even a good idea to sell older toys on here? Like say from the 80's etc? I've so far only bought sold and traded recent stuff, and I don't think I've really seen older toys listed.

Thanks for any help!
