Thats what I'm thinking. They're really betting a lot on this series. I like these better:

Love it or trade it... there are a bunch of people who are looking for him. I'd trade a bitten ear chase Gingerman for another Nuke. Bizarro Nuke!

I'm a sucker for Legos, so I have a natural curiousity for these guys. Though I don't have a Nuke.

I have some Kubricks too, so maybe I'll end up gettin' a few of these... :doubt: Though for $10 a pop, eh... that's bit much, no?

Not very pixelated, not very interesting. Nothing special about the characters, I don't see a following on this series unless it's for the 10 years and under crowd but then again they're a little too expensive for kids to be throwing their lunch money into. I think the next few months are gonna be slow as far as KR toydesign goes, you got the Peecols, the Gabagawhatever, and then the the Tara 8' Dunnys, I mean com'n, give us some testosterone here, I wanna sink my mitts on a 20" Ribeye! They did good on the black OKI-ni though.

You collect toys to make yourself feel like a man? You got some crazy issues.

And what exactly would be wrong in doing that?

I like these a lot, but not for this price. I think they need
to be about half the price and then I'd grab a bunch.

Admittedly, the price doesn't "thrill" me. Ten bucks for a little piece of plastic is ten bucks for a little piece of plastic. But there's a wide variety of different pieces in this series (ie. different molds), and it seems that will be ongoing.

Also, there are a number of "???" mystery figures each month. Being that these are not blind boxes, that would seem to indicate some sort of giveaways, as with Nuke. So possibly that $10 is to defray some of those costs. Don't actually know anything about those "???" figures, so that's just guessing.

I'd love for them to be $6, and maybe they'll go the way of the $3 Icebot/Sketbot/Heatherette, but I think I'm okay with $10. As blinds? No way. But think how much a Dunny collector spends to almost complete a set... the rows and rows of doubles... I know exactly how much this first series will cost me—it's a third the price of a Dunny case and I won't pull any that I don't like. :)
