Very Nice Jordan!

Where'd ya score the copper hand-paint?

And if ya don't mind me asking, how cheap were the companion hand-paints, both this year and last?

Target and Cinko signed by David...
(Thanks Deanobot for getting these for me... I was working at the Official Pix: Star Wars autographs booth when David was signing...see below for what I scored at the Official Pix booth...)

Here are a few of my favorite items from SDCC:
General Grievous: This was hanging behind Matt Wood when he was signing.
Darth Vader: This was hanging behind David Prowse when he was signing.

Just meeting all the peeps I did, board members, artists, and vendors alike (I compiled a list, and it's around 80 folks strong!) was the absolute highlight for me this year. What an amazing community we have!

As far as pick ups go, it's a toss up between these two -

Germs Conehead

And Neth's Woodland Collection resin set.
This is the most quality "toy" I've ever seen. So, so solid and ethereal at the same time.

Nice haul, J. I'm pretty convinced now that I need to get the Germs piece. We didn't get it at the con for space reasons, but that thing it just too awesome. And definitely underrated.

How "cheap"? More like "how back breaking" were the prices! :)

If I remember correctly, last year they were $500. This year, 5 of them were $626 and one was $926 (plus tax on all).

The Copper was a lucky draw from a Pusfan deal. I think it is considered a production piece rather than a "handpaint".

Wha--? No one helped you out, joemm?! And after all that effort tracking down beer...
It was awesome meeting/hanging with you, man. The hat was the ish!

L Word, it looks like you made a pretty good kaiju haul! And you should definitely pick up the Germs piece. It's part of my effort to change my collection up to more "art" than "toy". There's something really classic/retro feeling about it, and now I wish I would have been able to buy up a couple of those resin rockets that were across from Tokidoki's booth.

Great minds think alike! We actually own two of them that we bought after last year's SDCC. They're great pieces. You can order off of their website. Let me know if you want the link.

^^^LWord...that display is nuts! If I saw that pic before the con I would have picked up a couple of rockets and displayed them the same way. Love it!

Did I see you at VTN on Saturday rocking your gold Germs shirt? If so I was the one wearing the red one.

Anyway, nice to sort of meet you.

Awesome, L! I forgot you had those. I got their brochure and will definitely be picking up a few. These are the ones I reeeaaally liked, the banks and the lamp. I think Coasterbear picked up one or two, as well.
