for veg and and veg: i suggest eating at Pokez. total walking distance from the convention center
from SKET
"total disgrace, alot of artists have been screwed by mindstyle, this is a claim that can be backed up BIGTIME!. In fact we could write a book on it! I don't have a grudge cause my situation has been done n gone, but i know of many other HUNGRY people wanting to produce work who will never see what they so rightly deserve, payment and samples, and whatever mindstyle decides to do with your art...you will have no say or control"

If you go to eat at Pokez, be prepared to wait A LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG TIME!
They aren't nicknamed Slow Pokez for nothing.

It's a ridiculous wait but the food is good.

If you have a sweet tooth, do a search for "Extraordinary Desserts." There is one in Little Italy and one in Balboa Park. If you like fancy desserts (and you have a car), this is the place to go.

My other recommendation is Tacos El Gordo in Chula Vista. We tried the Tacos El Gordo in TJ last year and this one is closer to SD.

Extraordinary Desserts is the best.

If you do wanna do some stuff away from the Con, check out Balboa Park, Sea World, or go to Coronado, La Jolla Shores.

I had the best adobada (marinated pork) tacos at Tacos El Gordo. It's just off 5 South - on H Street. It was just ridiculous.
