Yoskay Yamamoto
Went by the Project Gallery for the first time ever to see the showing of Ogi and Yoskay Yamamoto. If you're in the LA area, you should go check out this show. Both artists' work are excellent, but Yamamoto's pieces are unreal. I was also told by the girl in the gallery that Yamamoto is working with them and Munky King in developing a signature toy.
You can see some of his work at www.project.bz, but the website images don't do the work any kind of justice. This is something you need to see in person.

yep, that's exactly what the girl said. I couldn't find a picture of the fish to show as an example, but it's kick-ass and y'all are going to want it. It will likely be sold from both Munky King and the gallery. She didn't know anything else beyond that.

VinylPulse has a pic of the print and some info
There will be 50 prints, and a proto of the fishhead will be at SDCC

It will be such an amazing figure, it will fly with the power of its own awesomeness.
or maybe a nice clear stick attached to a base up the rump?
If they have it standing, it would ruing it imo.

Yeah, the figure was amazing! It was all blue so I am guessing it would be colored??

Nevermind - I wont be needing the print any more, since I just bought the original
Wha--?!
Nice!
May I ask for how much?
Hey - I bought it at the Project Gallery. The board won't let me post a link since I have less than ten posts, but if you head over to the site (the link is posted earlier in this thread) and click the store link you can see what I paid (it hasn't been marked sold yet) as well as what's still available from Yoskay's show.
Some of the pieces still available are beautiful and very reasonably priced. I'd be all over The Black Flame of Death if I had more money right now.

That's very cool. I guess it's too late to see the show though.
