Really nice..

I remember passing up a brown dissected print for 500 euro's a couple years back, not really in to prints back then plus I thought it was a lot of money.

Makes me sad. :(

Was excited for a good second. Then I saw the wrinkle. Not the first time this black one has been shown with a wrinkle, unless it's the same print.

Nice print gunpwdr. This is totally off topic, but you have the cleanest desk and office I've ever seen.

And damn, that black print is $1,250? Is that around the normal price range for a Kaws print?

I remember the days when my clothes never made it into the laundry basket and would remain scattered around my room. The things marriage and women do to you... they neuter you.

Regarding the print, if I knew for 100% sure it could be fixed and made to look original, I would buy it for that price in a heartbeat. But I think the prevailing rates for a Kaws dissected print are about 3 times that price, or a little less if you find a good deal :)

Probably the reason for the "cheap" price tag, then.

Hi I'm new to this art thread.

Did anyone else notice the Kaws Exposed book on the bay? And does anyone own one, I'm wondering if its worth buying.

I don't think it comes up often, since its his first book, but I think the price is a bit steep for a book. Or is it that rare? The cover is definitely amazing!

Yes that one is probably the rarest Kaws book out there, it's the only one I'm missing. I believe it has some of his early busstop works in it, saw some pages once I think. No idea what the run was and what a decent price is though..

Oh wait, still have to pick up the latest too.

Oh, en welkom.. :)

I posted this on the Kaws forum listed above but am putting it here as well.

"HI, I just purchased the brown companion print. I got it and would like to confirm it is real. I have confirmed the signature is "real" in that it is not a scan or anything. A very, very light run over a tail on a number revealed it was in pencil. What I want to know is the paper used, quality of the print, close ups of the colored areas, etc. of the real prints.

Honestly, I cannot be sure yet if it is real or not. These were sold back in 2001 when he was still very much coming up. I believe they were sold at the Parco "Tokyo First" exhibit in Tokyo. I got this from a collector in Japan."

If anyone that has a real companion print from 2001 could add some close up pics either here, or PM me, I would appreciate it. I can say the print has no evidence of scan lines and is very crisp on the paper. Thanks.

Hey guys, need your expertise. I thinking about purchasing the Undercover x KAWS press print set. I would like to get a full list of what the set consists of. I have tried looking on here but found only one person selling it but not sure if it was complete. I also hear a ton of talk about fake sets floating around. Any help? I will visit the seller in a few weeks to see it in my hand so anything like paper, size, materials used, etc. Would be helpful. Really, a full list of items included would also be great, thanks all!

Those of you who are UK or London based may be interested to know that KAWS is part of this year's Frieze Sculpture Park, which is free to attend. http://friezelondon.com/news/sculpture-park-announced/

Can anyone confirm when these released? To my knowledge they came with a Original Fake tee or where promotion for the Original Fake tee's. But I'm not sure. Recently a set of 3 or 4 sold in Japan, so I know there's a couple more. Thanks.
