may i introduce you to one of my most favorite artists, martin harris?

http://www.martinharrisart.com/

no affiliation between martin and i; i've just been collecting his work for a couple of years now. i finally purchased my first original of his earlier this year. it's a small but lovely work named 'beatrice and the teapot genie" and was part of his most recent show, "toytown tales".

Ooh, I recommend a lovely art shop where you can buy fine art - http://www.jolini.com.
I think it's a UK one, can't be sure though.
I've already bought two artworks on their online gallery - beautiful. & great canvas quality as well

my fave gallery in the Santa Fe drive art district in Denver Colorado, lots of cool exhibits, the owner is surprisingly not the friendliest to customers, feels like 'your in my gallery, so what?' which i find strange because his gallery has so much personality and i got to meet Alex Pardee there for a signing.

anyway my new fave Denver artist is Ravi Zupa, wish i knew about this exhibit at the time, definitely wouldve bought a print, now i gotta see if i can get lucky and score one for a decent price.

I'm seeing all these link resources. In art school we are researching art collectives, neighborhoods, and non-profits. I've been struggling to come up with hits that apply to the pop-surrealism, toy art world. Any suggestions or links?

^ these are insane imo...would've copped already, but the sizes aren't standard for frames, so an additional custom frame makes it a bit too expensive for my liking atm, but the monolith I is def on my wish list

The Black book gallery is a good one,

Really, the best way to do it is when you discover some cool art you go straight to the artists website. that will either lead you to a email to them or direct sales or info about current and past exhibitions. then you check the past and current because galleries always have old inventory. plus they will usually give you deals on stuff that they haven't been able to get rid of.

Just email the gallery or the artist and ask if they have a catalogue of available works. and be ready to drop some cash!!!!

Check my Instagram, im building a small collection. I'll be at Josh Keyes preview opening tonight.
