KAWS Boba Fett Authentication
I'm hoping some of the experts can help authenticate this KAWS Boba Fett piece.
The thing I find troubling is that the sticker on the top of the box was obviously replaced. It looks like a round sticker was peeled off the top and replaced with a rectangular piece. Also, the bullet hole in helmet has smudging way outside normal area.
Thank you!

Two additional pictures. Another head-on since the last was crooked. And one of the paint on the helmet which is incredibly sloppy and smudged outside the usual area where the paint would be located (at least in any other pics I have seen online of authentic versions).

I'm amazed at the quality of the figure, considering it's a fake.
I was completely fooled -
glad you got a refund...

It's definitely a bootleg and not original, just as a FYI. There are several tells that I found out about later. The auction house already refunded my money.frass wrote:That looks like the real thing to me...
I wouldn't put too much store by the replacement of the round sticker that originally sealed
the figure into the box.
I own many Kaws pieces, and personally I always remove the clear 'seal' stickers from the boxes,
as over time, the adhesive will affect the printed colour on the box... Obviously I make
sure the hologram stickers stay in place...
As I don't own any of the Star Wars Kaws, perhaps someone with a Boba will be able to give you
a more informed answer...
