Yeah, I thought that too when I uploaded the image to my computer. but it's just because he is a very similar color to the background. I actually fixed it a little bit to bring about a bit more contrast (but have yet to upload to my gallery again) ;)

thanks! :D

You keep the shutter of the camera open for an extended period of time and use a glowstick or some light source to "draw" in the air, to get this sort of effect (at least that's the way I've done it before).

Hope that makes sense ;)

you can use your cell phone or any sort of device that have lights.

Just extend your shutter speed for an extended amount of time on a tripod or table.

then run around with your glowing device.

it's fun.

Here's one of the seven baby raccoons I'm helping rehab this season (her name is Mush-mush):

Her mother was killed by some butthole who didn't want to relocate the animals (just shoot them like a lazy redneck) :(

Your camera should have P, A, S, M modes...
Go to S mode and then adjust the how fast or slow you want it to be.

Higher shuttle speed means faster action/ freeze motions
Lower shuttle speed means slow actions/ blur out actions

low shuttle speed:

high shuttle speed. ( that's my neighbor ) see his expression?
Image

lower speed will absorb alot of light, higher speec will barely absorb light...
so you'll have to play with your camera.. it's very fun.
