On Saturday Oct. 20, from 11 am to 4pm, I will be teaching a 5-hour Munny-painting workshop at Blick Art Materials in Seattle (1600 Broadway Ave, at the intersection of Broadway and Pine on Capitol Hill, where the Jimi Hendrix statue is). I'll walk the group through the steps I use in painting my toys, from priming to adding that final glint of light in the eyes.
It's geared toward people who are new to customizing, or who want to learn my technique, so if you're new to customizing, come on out, and if you're an experienced customizer, tell your friends. All paints and brushes will be provided, and the only thing you'll need to spend money on is a KidRobot 4" or 7" toy (and there will be 20% off coupons to make that even easier).
Space is going to be limited to 16 participants, but you can reserve a spot by stopping by the store to register, or email email@example.com
and put "attn:marcel" in your subject line.
