Here is my first Munny.

I did bump into a few problems on the way, the main being that I feel the acrylic was too thick as I had to add numerous layers to stop the blue-ness coming through.

Thanks :-). Next time I'm gonna try something a bit harder but first I need a method of making the acrylic paint less thick.

very nice... Here is my PERSONAL opinion, I think adding a slightly lighter color of blue on his muzzle would have made him look more monkey-ish. Also, maybe get a bit of drip in the lettering on the sign? OH, and to add that extra bit of 'cute factor' maybe the word 'UNDIES' instead of the picture of them..... But that is my PERSONAL opinion.

NOW, for my PROFESSIONAL opinion.

When working with acrylics, try thinning down the last few layers with a BIT of water, it will make the finish smoother, as well as going on cleaner. Make sure you have the previous layers very dry before doing this though, because if you do it while it is still curing, or you add to much water to the paint, it will begin to strip off your previous layers. ALSO, dont go over the same spot to many times when it is wet, because it will just start taking the paint off anyway. ALSO a bit of automotive clear coat on the top adds a bit of a smooth look to even rough paint, I know, I've had a lot of rough paint that came out good in the end because of clearcoat.
