I've dabbled in a few custom Munnys (or Munnies? What's the verdict on the grammar?) but mostly as a half assed experiment. This is the first project where I really wanted to challenge myself to create something that I can be proud of. This is a project of many firsts so some turbulence is to be expected. I will continue to post my progress and any comments would be appreciated. The work on this forum is really inspiring and I hope I can contribute my part!

In checking out your blog, I wanted to throw out one thing (hopefully I'm not too late!). Before you bake that sculpey, make sure that you can twist and turn the head and arms and not break off your sculpey. It looks cool so far!

I am actually thinking of sculpting the head to the body to form one shape. RIght not I'm paying the price for not doing enough planning as I wasn't really sure what to do after the first layer of tentacles. Live and learn right?

If you end up doing that, super glue the head to the body or something. Make sure it can't move. Because if it does, there goes the whole thing.

Part of what I like about making custom munnys is having to do the problem solving to make things work. I lay in bed and think about it sometimes. Weird.

Haha! Thanks. For the first time ever, I am doing all 4 at once. Unfortunately for me, they are for a commission. I'll throw pics up when they are done.

After this I have The Avengers commissioned. That's a good sized paycheck right there!
