Custom samurai sword for dunny and munny

What do you guys think would be the best tecnique and material to use to create a custom samurai sword for the 3" dunny and a 4"munny ?

dunny sword i would use sculpey and time haha
mini munny sword i would go to the hobby shop get a small peice of sheet metal prob aluminum, make the blade out of that, and then a handle of sculpey

I suggest you make one samurai sword with a long blade. That would be lot cooler and fantastic. And use the aluminum foil for the blades sharpness effect.

do they have to be metal? i as well as a lot of customizers use wood to make blades

I'd use some thick plasticard for the blade, sanded to shape. The guard could be cut from the same. Depends how complex you want to get with the hilt - just a small pipe or go the whole hog and bind it with some cotton.

I just made one for my Leonardo munny. All I did was do 3 pieces of sculpey. One for the blade, one for the guard, and one for the hilt. You can trim it up to look nice after it bakes. I super glued it all together and then primed and painted. After that, I wrapped the hilt with thread. It's not the best ever, but works.
