Homemade Figures!!

Post by perezneufeld » Mon May 30, 2016 6:25 pm

Hi everyone a friend and I made this characters let us know your thoughts and maybe support us to make more. We start making the figure in epoxy putty and after cast resin and fiberglass copies, it is the beginning of our production so we have less than 10 pieces made…

The bear guy in the hat is especially cool! Something about the pose & design, it's really got character! Great work & good luck with it all.

Hey awesome work. I have one question though, what do you use as the "skeleton" of the figure while sculpting? Wire? Foil? I've tried using everything i could think of when putting together the armature but I can't make the epoxy stick to it. Thanks in advance.

hey thanks a lot, to make the figure firs use wire, for volume use foil paper and to avoid epoxy putty moving from place is good to use thin wire and wrap the pice before adding the clay… did you guys know a place to offer this kind of work I know dcon. would be great a section of independent creators here to sell pieces.
