Looks good, but i would place a piece of old wood under Bobba. There is too much air between the glass and the figure and it looks a bit small. I have seen this before in other kaws pieces and it looks really nice.

I find some times pieces are a bit stuffed into the jars but I can see your point of it being maybe a tad too big, but I think I might be rotating some pieces through the jar so it allows flexibility for my display.

But a piece of wood is not fixed, so you can remove it for a new figure.

I have downloaded this image from the boardie drewproduces. He owns one of the nicest collections here. And he knows well how to display all his toys as a part of the home decor. Really nice. Here you have an example. Hope drewproduces don't mind about this.

I personally don't like the look with the piece of wood in there. Looks weird to me and distracts from the toy.

I grabbed mine from ILoveRetro via Amazon, thought about the Selfridges ones but I thought I would pass on the mirror base and did not want to take it home on the tube/train. I have been looking for some for years but a lot easier to find in the UK compared with Canada and they seem to be getting quite popular at the moment.

I am not sure on the wood either, perhaps something in a black would not be as distracting, but I think I will let mine be as is for now I will see how other pieces look in it or maybe I will get a slightly smaller size and have a couple. I have a black chrome Sorayama as well but it is in storage back in Canada so unfortunately it will not be getting into the jar anytime soon.

It is the mix between wood and metal what does attractive and nice to me. Only showing the figure would be the same as the Bobba, too much air above his head and it would display too small inside the glass.

If the glass cage was smaller, it would fit perfect, but if not, the figure shows a bit ridiculous.

It's just a personal perception. :)

Well probably a black riser would be the best solution as it would blend in seamlessly and eliminate some of the extra space at the top. I personally feel the contents should end around the point of the dome curving as it can distort what is inside and thus not an ideal display IMO. At this point I am just happy to have my Fett on display so I will probably leave it for now, but am curious to try some other pieces in there like a Be@rbrick or other Kaws pieces.

I tend to reside in dusty places so the preservation of my pieces is my greatest concern at this point.

On with the Kaws!!!!!!!!

Hi,

Let me introduce myself, also a Kaws addict since 2 years from Holland.
In the last months I decided to focus on Wood & Metal, and (ofcourse) some
"hard to get" old vinyl. Very difficult to get this pieces in Europe.
Hope you all like it....

Only a few months? That's an impressive collection for such a short time!

loving the very under-rated 'Christmas Kuns'...
