tado's "how manga took over the world"

Post by tweaks02 » Fri Apr 04, 2008 2:33 pm

i was just wondering if anyone else has been to or knows about the exhibition entitled "how manga took over the world" (its in urbis in manchester).

Its meant to be an exhibition about the history and development of manga in the western world but because tado were responsible for the majority of the exhibition its an awesome showcase of some of their work, including the dunnys they designed. Great manga and anime stuff knocking about as well as exhibition boards done by tado, my favourite being a large star wars silhouette style piece. if you can, go to it, even if you have to fly from far away.

information is at http://www.urbis.org.uk/page.asp?id=3225

i took loads of photos when i went so will try and post them when i get the camera back

the photos can be viewed in this post

TADO is nice, it would be an interesting exhibition to see. I'll have to settle for the photos, thanks for posting them :)
