JLed Mr. Bunny box & flippers: subliminal message?

Is this why people want to "flip" their JLed toys? Do buyers see this and subliminally get the impulse to sell their toys?

Hmm..

Profit in business will always be the case, in the good ol USA... The cost of something, is what another person will pay for it...Look at the up coming LA Dunny series. Does anyone think that people will be buying cases just for collecting?

(wish i did!) do you really think that billy would take the time to hang out on message boards? it's just a screen name. i am a housewife with child. and i collect art. and yes i agree, i liked it when it was on melrose as well.

jonvespa

hey, can you make a list of all the stores that went straight to ebay, so we know, to avoid them in the future?

if anyone wants to read my fiasco, with a certain store, please be sure to read this thread-
http://forums.kidrobot.com/viewtopic.php?t=16403

its funny, cause i never named names, and then, the store owners jumped on there, and complained about me, when, if you read what they said, they were in the wrong!!!

i am too much of a wimp to name names, but if some store admits when they are wrong, like these fools did, then how can i complain! ha.

so, if anyone can make a list of all the store flippers, it would be great for the rest of us!!!

i will not name who screwed me, but if you read that thread, you can decide for yourself.

im hope hope hoping for a chance at the kidrobot batch! i got one of the 20 inch el locos, and those were limited to 100 or so. so, i think we will all have a chance once kidrobot unleashes the joe leds on us!

In La Luz's defense I have had some great dealings with them. I bought a print from them they could have got much more on ebay for. I know a local store here had a bunny on ebay but they also sold some at retail so I don't hold it against them.

i am contemplating opening an online toystore. and rest assured fellas, when i sell something at the store, there will be NO FLIPPING!

everything gets sold at the regular price!!!

its a pipe-dream, but it is in the works as we speak.

el maz, actually, it seemed to me like vespa thought because my screen name was WACKO that implied that I owned the store, of the same name. wish i did, but i dont. he even stated that he spent thousands of dollars in MY STORE. lol its funny, people here are too serious.
i am still the proud owner of all my ice ledbetter toys.
every time i go into la luz, i dont see a lot of vinyl except for a few kozik. they have carried kozik's stuff for over 15 years though, so i think they have a good relationship with him,
i have never seen a fire-cat or mr. bunny, kaws, etc... i dont think the owner gets into the vinyl scene much. he seems to more into the real money, paintings and original art. i love the store, it is really one of a kind! brought shag, mark ryden, biskup, baseman, etc etc into the mainstream. ereryone who visits LA has to stop by.

I've thought about getting a case, only because (to me) it ups my chances of completing a set off the bat - instead of buying singles. Series 2 taught me a good lesson with that. So If I think I am going to go for the whole set, it will be a case.
