If you don't know, well now you know! The Most Wanted Crew will be hosting our very first gallery show @ the 1AM gallery in San Francisco! Featuring works from the likes of Artmymind, Sergio Mancini, Chauskoskis, Muffinman and a whole slew of talented artists! The show runs from May 11th till June 10, with the opening reception on the 11th from 6:30-9:30pm. We plan on having a pretty dope one night only surprise for those attending, so if you can make it out, do it! And not to mention the tons of awesome customs and a very exclusive print by Pause (read more about it here) with an extremely limited run size! Most Wanted started off as a sort of experiment between Tim Munz, Igor Ventura, and myself (Manny Rivas), back in 2009 with our very first custom Dunny series (which featured many customizers from the KR boards), and has since blown up to other great projects and collabs thanks to all our dedicated fans. You guys are amazing, and we hope this show will express just how much we appreciate all the support Below is the press release from the gallery which will give you all the info you need to know. "1AM, with curators Manny Rivas and James Brown, are proud to present “Most Wanted: Behind the Hype”, a toy vinyl show featuring the best customizers in the game. More than 25 artists were given Kidrobot platforms to showcase their creativity and skills. Without any specific theme to address, everyone is pushing the boundaries of their own unique style. The opening reception is on Friday, May 11th, 2012 from 6:30 to 9:30pm and will run through June 10th, 2012.

"Most Wanted” (MW) is an artist collective that started in 2009 and was created by Tim Munz, Igor Ventura, and Manny Rivas. It is a custom Dunny series that pays homage to Kidrobot and their classic (Dunny) blind box series. Bringing together a huge collective of talent from across the globe, MW1 and its’ predecessor, MW2, were instant successes with both series selling out in a matter of seconds. Despite the continuing success of the collective, the founders’ goal remains the same: to find and showcase some of the most talented up-and-comers in the scene and spread their talent across the globe. One of the best ways to do that is to exhibit the incredible works at art galleries.

The “Most Wanted: Behind The Hype” show has no particular theme to limit the artists’ imagination. Manny and James wanted everyone to bring their own distinctive styles to the table and present them on the most popular platforms out there, KidRobot’s Munnys and Dunnys. The focus of this exhibit is to display the true talent and passion that lies behind the hype. What is the hype? Join us at the opening reception on Friday, May 11th and find out!"

1st 15 people who come up to me at the show and say the secret word will get a free joint and a mystery prize of nothing. I'll be the guy dressed up as a Rsinart MW2 dunny.

No need to RSVP, just show up

If you want to score a piece, I suggest shooting the gallery an email or two and maybe giving them a call (they will most likely do a preview list). We'll see you there! :partyman:

I'm all jittery like a heroin addict. I'm excited to get large photos of the front and back of the MW2/MW3 figures for my site, and the reveals have shown this to be possibly the best designer toy show in as long as I can remember. I feel like I can use photos from this event to finally show people "what the big deal is" with art toys.
