Were the plushes for sale? If so, how much? Did anyone here get one they'd like to disclose?

The handmade Uglies were $150.00 each.

Yet, an absolute bargain compared to the second-hand market. I think I'd buy handmade Uglies all day long at $150 each.

You also have to remember there were 10x the amount of plush in Ugly Con 1 versus the 5 made for this show. David and Sun-Min only had like 2 month to prepare for this show on top of constant traveling and being parents. I felt $150 was well worth it. DUDE/DUDETTE!! Zombie Uglydolls! Doesn't get any cooler then that unless you are me and it means ZOMBIE SPIDER BOOM!!!

150 is cool and there were a ton of people hoping to win the raffle and have the opportunity to buy one of them... time is much more valuable when you have a baby

Anyone heard from GR yet about picking up their pieces from this show? I'm very antsy to get my hands my purchases now that the show is over.

So they had them in some quantity in the store, then?

If referring to the Blue eyed Menta Icebat ...Dehara shipped extra to GR after the show ended. I lagged on going as I am pregnant and get tired easily. Anywhoo I was lucky and GR had the last one on display looking all lonely. So I bought him after I picked up my show pieces.

Yes, that's what I was referring to. Just a little frustrating to hear that there was still one in the store as recently as yesterday, given all the jerking around I got from some of the GR staff about these figures.

From what I understand Dehara shipped an additional 20 to GR after the show ended. I think I read it in David's blog.

Right. And after convincing the GR people of this, they said "oh, you're right, we have some, confirm that you're still interested and we'll email an invoice". After responding almost immediately, I wait a few days, then get "oh, you know what, we don't have anymore, sorry". That was over a month ago, and following a previous go around via email right after the show when one guy said there were a few left and he'd put one aside for me - then he stopped responding until someone else wrote back "Don't know what you're talking about guy". Either way, it's moot now. But I'm definitely frustrated after the effort I put in to get one of these, only to get jerked around twice, then to find out they still had at least one for so long after.
