but why could you not show a piture if you own it? That makes no sesne?

Those of us who have been long-time members on the Uglydoll board know the reasons for this. That's why we try to blur or block out the images of them.

But here is the reason... David had asked us, personally, not to post any pics of the UVERs on the boards because of Sony. These items were only intended to be sold/distributed for Japan only. David could get in trouble with Sony with the posting of these images, since some of Sony's people would scan the boards occasionally.

The first UVER was a pink Kiddyland exclusive and was never distributed outside of Japan. The next UVERs were pink, green, blue and white (slightly smaller and iron-on transfers for eyes and mouth) and may have been from Japan crane games. A few of them were distributed outside of Japan at GR and a few select retailers. I think David was able to work out the distribution through GR, but not sure about the other places. There were also smaller cellphone holder UVERs that made too.

Sorry for the mix-up I thought you were talking about why some people are not able to post pictures of their uglydol family if they say they have certain uglydolls in the ugly family but cannot post pics. #-o

The reason keychain babo is in that little sleeping bag is because he usally accomidates me on my travel so I like to provide him a warm bed wherever he goes....plus he was my first uglydoll
