While looking over the Speakeasy and the forum this week, I noticed somethng. Everyone is always asking questions, especially people who are new to uglydolls. I thought: why don't we have a question thread? It can be a place for everyone to question, confirm, or ask about something they may have heard that was ugly-related. Anyone can answer, as long as it is appropriate and pertains mostly to the question.Of course, with any place there should be rules, such as:

You cannot ask a question until the one before you has been answered

If you know the answer, tell them in a nice way, not "I can't believe you didnt know that!"

Who would answer to it? Anyone and everyone who feels like doing so. I think a system such as this could be very effective. Answering littlewedgeheads plea for significant topics, foom23's asking for less questions that could be answered by looking through the forums, and making a smoother running forums, instead of questions (which are ok) taking away space that could be used for stories or pictures or web links or whatever. If you think this may work, then please reply, so we can all get an idea of how much this is or isnt needed. Thanks!

What a GREAT idea! May I start this AMAZING fourm by asking a question?
Ok good.

Um...Let me see...OH!GOT ONE!

Does anyone know a store that STILL sells colored tag uglys?
Because my friend found a wage with a colored tag at our store where we find uglys.

I do not believe that any store around me sells them, nor do i know of any. For that store to have them they must have had them for a while. If you are interested in finding ones with tags like that I suggest looking for them at clearance sales at places that sell them, and or on ebay if it is affordable.

Yup. Try to find those little places that don't move a lot of merchandise; colortags are old production now, and you'd need to find a shop with old inventory. You could always contact David and see if he could give you the scoop on retailers in your area that carried Uglies back in the day but no longer get new shipments. But that might be a stretch.

CRAZYWAGE, JC said about the clear boxes,
Acrylic boxes were custom ordered for each Uglydoll were approximately $30 each. PM if you need any specific information.
He posted this on the *new* uglydoll family picutre album. If you have any questions he said PM him.

I'm sorry, but those Uglies in cases look like they are suffocating. Is it just me, or do Uglies look much better in a "natural" environment. I know that our gen 1 Babo and Jeero have been much happier in our bed than in a case for all these years.

Thanks for the advice! I must have skipped over that post. $30 is kinda out of my budget right now so I guess I'll have to wait. And aquaphase, i agree,; I was just looking for ones to store my uverchan in.

Well, there could be a couple answers. Maybe it all just depends on the worker making it. After all, they don't all look exactly the same. It's probably just a worker differnce. Another reason could be that the uglydolls are on a diet! Just kidding. That's the only reasonable explanation I can think of at the moment.

There is a very slight shimmer in the fabric used to make at least some older Wage aprons. I have a 1G Wage (I think it's 1G anyway...the hang tag is green, but the sewn-in tag does not have his name on it, and is printed--not stitched), and his apron has a sparkle to it.

Our Tsunami Wage, Birthday Wage and Secret Mission Wage have straight denim aprons. I didn't check the little guys, and Teal Wage is upstairs cleaning right now.
