Just found out that Giant Robot will get 20 to 30 of these when
they ship in July. Babo is a run of 150 so I don't think he'll sell out as quickly as GID Ice-Bat did. The ebay folks who want to make money on toys usually stick with the much smaller runs it seems.

Actually I have to agree.
We were back and forth on if we should make these guys at
all. Gas is $4, or $5 by the time you read this. Hey here it's $11!
Even to get one of each of these guys (there will be 4 Ugly Kaiju characters total) is a lot of dough. But we had this one window of time to do them, not knowing if the chance would come again.

To make up for our kaiju urge, we decided that we would no longer release special colors of the entire plush line at SDCC. It was Ok the first time, but the line had grown by 6 the following year. And now there's 6 more.
Instead there will be one special, with a run of 400, and we're going to reveal a
"under $10" line at the show for release by the fall/winter.
Still, please keep letting us know how you feel about them, good or bad.
I will open up a "what do you think" section on our blog.

Haha, that's too funny. My mother (full Korean) was reading the Ugly Guide to the Uglyverse and started laughing hysterically. When I asked, "whats so funny?" She replies, "That thing name is Stupid!" David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim rocks!!! :rock:

yeah, i love the KFGU, and now most of them are going for around $40, its awesome, i have about 8 KFGU figures from a variety of molds, I hope these do the same thing, but I doubt it, just cuz they are david horvath and he has so many fans and the flatwoods/mothmen/ chupacabra are not decreasing in price in the after market, but they are increasing, but i have 2 flatwoods, the black and GID, and they rock!, i need some mothmen now

I've been a bit out of the loop with all the KFGUs and Ugly Kaiju releases. I've got a few items on order from tokyocube now to remedy that, though. The pretty colours lured me in.
