ah, im definitely jealous of that one. Especially since the 2 things i love to collect most are skate decks and kozik work. Nice grab.

Mounted and hung on the wall. The 5th deck is a D-Lux custom if the question was to be asked...

And the painting is the original "suit and tie" Labbit with the hand drawn donkey that was used in an Altoids ad.

$650. Hunted it down for like 2 years.

What is the deal with the print of that painting (so envious of you Kom for having it the OG). Was there a run of 100 signed and #'erd and a run of 100 #'erd and wax stamped?

My print (yes I have a print and the OG) is numbered, signed and wax stamped.

Well I have one that is only numbered and stamped. Strange that mine is not signed, I feel like I got a fake or something...

Did it come from Minnesota? There was a studio up there that was the previous owner of the painting and was selling the prints. Is the stamp like a spark plug?

Yeah it has a stamp of a spark plug below the print. So do you figure they released an unsiged set of the prints aswell as the signed set?

Yea, that's exactly what it sounds like. Happens all the time. They end up printing more than the numbered run, or sell the AP. I'm sure it's legit.

Artminion was the one who was selling it. Here's my print. Hard to see, but numbered on the left, signed on the right, stamped center on the bottom.

(Nice!
I will snap a photo of mine tonight, but mine is different with the samp on the bottom right corner of the print.)

Update: here are pictures, I took them with my Black Berry so they are not the best

You can see the #'s in the lower left and the stamp on the lower right.

I posted this in the Show Off forum and decided to dust this thread off to post it here as well, feeling someone here would be more into it...

Thanks dougr! I was wondering if any one would call me out on those. I don't feel I need them just cause my aim was KR vinyl mongers.

I posted in you other thread too, but after your comment about the fully visual sets, I also have to say... I love your direction, the same logic I use to collect and keep myself from buying absolutely everything (and stop myself from collecting myself out of house and home!)

Once again, nice work williej

I have another deltoff and quite a few shelves with the rest of my collection, so I haven't been that good at keeping myself focused, but I am defiantly heavy on the Kozik in my collection.

The prints that you have that are stamped, does it matter where the stamp is? I found a print of the suit and tie, but the stamp is on the left side on the print area. I love the prints, but I'm worried about getting a fake. I have just started collecting about a week ago and I am hoping to make my collection quite large and credible. :)
