Post by TaoKata » Tue Mar 04, 2008 12:51 pm

I've been able to remove all paints but can't get the sharpie off, its it possible without sand way through it? lol I've been using paint thinners and such, and other (better) solutions out there? Thanks for any help. sorry if this has been covered before.

If a product called "goof off" doesn't take it off then I don't know what will.

i think sharpie's inks goes in the vinyl.

your best option could be repriming it.

PEC12 Spray, its used to clean photographic negatives but it will clean pretty much anything. I have used it to completely remove Sharpie from metal plastic wood. Spray it on and wipe it off the rest will evaporate. Dont know how it will work on vinyl but worth a look.

You can find it at any photo supply store or online at like, Calumet, or BH Photo Video.
